Kandahar

The makers of the upcoming American action thriller film Kandahar released its official trailer on Tuesday evening. Directed by Ric Roman Waugh and written by Mitchell LaFortune, the film stars Gerard Butler alongside Ali Fazal, Olivia-Mai Barrett, Rebecca Calder, Navid Negahban, Bahador Foladi and Elnaaz Norouzi.

The Two-minute-16-second-long trailer follows an undercover CIA operative named Tom Harris (Gerard Butler), who is stuck deep in Afghanistan. He must fight his way out alongside his Afghan translator to an extraction point in Kandahar. But they must avoid being hunted down by elite enemy forces.

Kandahar will hit theatres on May 26.

Beau Is Afraid

The second trailer of the surrealist comedy horror film Beau Is Afraid came out on Tuesday. Helmed by Ari Aster, who previously directed horror classics like Hereditary and Midsommar, the film stars Academy Award-winner Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role alongside Nathan Lane, Patti LuPone, Amy Ryan, Kylie Rogers and Parker Posey.

In the 45-second-long trailer, we see a man suffering from paranoia and trying to get home to his abusive mother. We see him as a youngster looking at a teenage girl. Then we see distorted images of her mother.

Beau Is Afraid will arrive in the cinemas on April 21.

A Small Light

National Geographic t dropped the official trailer of its upcoming biographical drama miniseries A Small Light on Tuesday. The series stars Bel Powley as Miep Gies, Liev Schreiber as Otto Frank, Joe Cole as Jan Gies, Amira Casar as Edith Frank, Billie Boullet as Anne Frank and Ashley Brooke as Margot Frank.

The one-minute-58-second-long trailer shows a glimpse of the brave story of Miep Gies, who sheltered her employer Otto Frank and his family during World War II.

A Small Light will premiere on National Geographic on May 1 and will stream new episodes every Monday on Disney+.

The Muppets Mayhem

Disney+ released the official teaser of its upcoming musical comedy series The Muppets Mayhem. It stars Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry and Muppet performers Barretta, Peter Linz, Eric Jacobson, Matt Vogel, David Rudman and Dave Goelz.

In the 45-second-long teaser, we see a band of muppets who are still rocking and rolling after 45 years are back on stage again.

The Muppets Mayhem will arrive on Disney+ on May 10.
