Barry Season 4
The official trailer of the fourth and final season of HBO’s black comedy series Barry came out on Wednesday night. Created by Alec Berg and Bill Hader, the Emmy-winning show features Bill Hader in the titular role along with Sarah Goldberg, Henry Winkler, Anthony Carrigan and Stephen Root.
The one-minute-34-second-long teaser opens with Barry behind the bars. He calls Cousineau (Winkler), who is still furious with him. Then we see Barry’s deteriorating mental health as he starts to hallucinate on things from the past. We also see glimpses of the other important characters and some new ones.
Barry Season 4 will be streaming on HBO Max from April 16.
Dead Ringers
Amazon Prime Video unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming series Dead Ringers on Wednesday night. It is based on the 1988 film of the same name by David Cronenberg. The series stars Rachel Weisz in a double role along with Michael Chernus, Poppy Liu and Britne Oldford.
The two-minute-11-second-long trailer shows Rachel Weisz as twin gynaecologists Elliot and Beverly Mantle. They share everything — drugs, lovers and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes. They are pushing the boundaries of medical ethics to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s healthcare to the forefront. The trailer promises to give us a glimpse into the world of medical science like never before.
Dead Ringers will be streaming Amazon Prime Video from April 21.
American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing
Netflix released the official trailer of its upcoming documentary series titled American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing. The series will trace the manhunt followed by the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing that paralysed a city on what was supposed to be its happiest day.
The two-minute-nine-second-long trailer delves into the manhunt that followed the tragedy as remembered by law enforcement officials, who brought the bombers to justice and the survivors caught in the crossfire.
American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing will be streaming on Netflix from April 12.
Garmi
Sony Liv on Thursday dropped the official teaser of its upcoming Hindi-language series Garmi. Written and Created by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the series stars Vyom Yadav, Jatin Goswami, Vineet Kumar, Mukesh Tiwari and Anurag Thakur.
In the one-minute-45-second-long teaser, we see the journey of Arvind Shukla (Vyom Yadav), who moves out of his hometown with aspirations of becoming a civil servant but stumbles into the world of college politics, powerplay and crime.
