Anshula Kapoor wished her elder brother Arjun Kapoor on his 39th birthday on June 26 in a heartfelt note, sharing a series of snaps of the siblings from the family album.
Also sharing a video from Arjun’s birthday bash, Anshula called him her “fiercest protector, cheerleader and the fulfiller of dreams”.
“Happy birthday to my number one. My fiercest protector, my first bully 😂, my first wrestling companion, my loudest cheerleader, the fulfiller of all my dreams, the man with the biggest heart,” she wrote in the note shared on Instagram.
“My wish for you this year is that you never stop believing in yourself & your ability to overcome & rise again, your life becomes everything you dream of it becoming, your worries become smaller, your laughs become louder, your smiles become bigger & you never have to burden more than you can carry,” she added.
However, Malaika Arora, who has reportedly been dating Arjun, seems to have missed the party, adding fuel to the breakup rumours circulating on the grapevine.
Malaika also shared a cryptic post on her Instagram stories on Arjun’s birthday. “I like people that I can trust with my eyes closed and my back turned,” reads the story shared by Malaika.
Apart from Anshula, Arjun’s uncle Anil Kapoor and half-sister Khushi Kapoor also extended their warmest wishes to him on his special day. “Happy Birthday Arjun bhaiya,” wrote Khushi, sharing a collage featuring her, Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor.
Anil also penned a note to wish Arjun on his special day and shared a childhood picture of the birthday boy. In his note, Anil expressed excitement for Arjun’s upcoming collaboration with Rohit Shetty in Singham Again.
“Happy Birthday to the Chachu-est Chacha, the funny, the sensitive, and the fully dramatic Arjuuuunnn Kapoooooooooor. Looking forward to your collaboration with Rohit Shetty chachu. Love you,” reads Anil’s Instagram story.
Rohit also took to Instagram to share a fresh character poster of Arjun from the upcoming cop drama on the actor’s birthday. Arjun reshared the poster, thanking the 50-year-old filmmaker for his gesture. “@itsrohitshetty sir what a gift. Ek aur ‘Danger’ reveal on the birthday,” reads Arjun’s thank-you note on Instagram.
Arjun is set to play the villain in Singham Again, also known as Singham 3, which is the fifth instalment in Rohit’s cop universe. Led by Ajay Devgn as DCP Bajirao Singham, the film also features Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari and Tiger Shroff. It is slated to hit theatres on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali.
