An Action Hero

T-Series has dropped a new poster of Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film An Action Hero. The film is directed by Anirudh Iyer and jointly produced by Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.

In the poster, Ayushmann and Jaideep Ahlawat are seen in an intense face-off. The production house shared the poster with the caption, “A Villain on a hunt and a Hero on the run! THE CHASE HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!💥 #AnActionHero trailer out TOMORROW!”

Hostel Daze Season 3

Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer of campus-drama Hostel Daze Season 3. Created by TVF chief Arunabh Kumar and directed by Abhinav Anand, the series features Utsav Sarkar, Nikhil Vijay, Luv Vispute, Shubham Gaur, Ahsaas Channa, Ayushi Gupta and late Raju Srivastav. The latest season is written by Harish Peddinti, Suprith Kundar and Talha Siddiqui.

In the two-minute-34-second-long trailer, we see the main characters going through the third year of their engineering journey. After the exhilarating freedom of the initial years, Ankit, Akanksha, Jaat, Jhantoo, Nabomita and Chirag navigate through new life experiences, both on and off-campus. As all the other characters are trying to evolve, Jhantoo remains the same and vows to make the year an interesting one.

Hostel Daze Season 3 will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from November 16.

Aaro Ek Prithibi

Eskay Movies have dropped the trailer of filmmaker Atanu Ghosh’s upcoming Bengali suspense thriller film Aaro Ek Prithibi. Presented by Ashok Dhanuka and Himanshu Dhanuka, the film stars Tasnia Farin, Kaushik Ganguly, Anindita Bose and Shaheb Bhattacherjee in prominent roles.

In the two-minute-17-second-long trailer, we see glimpses of the troubled life of a young girl (Farin). From her father being chased and caught by the police to her mysterious presence in the United Kingdom, a series of events introduce us to Farin and other important characters. Kaushik Ganguly is shown as a mysterious man who plays the violin.

Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio

Netflix has dropped the trailer of its upcoming stop-motion film Pinocchio, helmed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro. The film is based on Gris Grimly’s redesigned 2002 edition of the 1883 Italian novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi. The film features a star-studded voice-cast —Ewan McGregor as Cricket, David Bradley of Game of Thrones fame as the grieving woodcarver Geppetto, Finn Wolfhard of Stranger Things as Candlewick and Cate Blanchett as Sprezzatura.

The two-minute-35-second trailer shows the titular robot-boy Pinocchio walking through the streets as people start to get uneasy about his presence. The trailer showcases how Pinocchio and his father found each other despite all the obstacles they had to face. Award-winning stop-motion director Mark Gustafson is also an integral part of this project.

Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio will arrive on Netflix on December 9.
