Tech giant Elon Musk on Monday revealed that he is set to undergo an MRI for his neck and upper back, indicating the potential need for a surgery.
In an announcement on X platform (formerly Twitter), the 52-year-old shared his health status, highlighting his rigorous schedule with the news of an impending cage fight against Meta co-founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Amid his roles as CEO of Tesla Inc., Space Exploration Technologies Corp., and the owner of the closely monitored social media platform X, Musk's health status has captured global attention. Notorious for his unrelenting work ethic, he acknowledged that he is grappling with a "mega back pain" following an encounter with a sumo wrestler.
When Musk challenged Putin
Last year, Musk made headlines by challenging Russian President Vladimir Putin to 'single combat' over the Ukraine issue, referencing his back injury from the sumo match. His penchant for online theatrics also extends to his ongoing verbal jousting with Mark Zuckerberg, with both CEOs fueling anticipation for an imminent cage fight.
However, Musk's well-being now hovers over this highly anticipated showdown. As he awaits the MRI results, which he reported could lead to surgery for reinforcing the titanium plate supporting his C5/C6 vertebrae, uncertainties arise about the potential realisation of the cage match, reports NDTV. Mark Zuckerberg proposed a date for the fight, yet confirmation remains pending. Despite the health hurdle, both tech titans seem ready to engage in a fierce battle – a spectacle that the world is eagerly waiting.
