The burning effigies of brothers Ravan, Meghnad and Kumbhakarn and grounds hosting the Ram-Lila, acts from the Indian epic Ramayan are a common sight on Dussehra. At these Ram-Lilas, artists dress up as characters from Ramayan and perform the scenes from the epic which ends with the triumph of Ram over Ravan, and essentially good over evil.
