Emami East Bengal on Thursday returned to their home ground after four years and winning ways after Monday's draw.
East Bengal reserves routed Eastern Railway 5-1 in front of jubilant supporters and first-team coach Carles Cuadrat and after five matches they have 11 points. East Bengal are now second in the Calcutta Football League Premier Division points table.
The first goal came in the 21st minute when Avishek Kunjam scored from close range. The hosts found two more goals in the first half through dubutant Vanlalpeka Guite and Aman CK.
Despite conceding a goal in the 51st minute, East Bengal continued their dominance through the remainder of the match.
The fourth came in the 78th minute as Aman slotted the ball into the net to complete his brace.
Substitute Razibul Mistry scored a tap-in nine minutes later that came off Kush Chhetri's assist.
In other matches, Bhowanipore Club beat Wari Athletic Club 3-1 and Calcutta Customs defeated BSS Sporting Club 2-0.
