ISL: Mohammedan Sporting's struggle continues as hosts Kerala Blasters secure 3-0 victory

Mohammedan Sporting tasted defeat again as hosts Kerala Blasters won 3-0 in ISL-XI in Kochi on Sunday. Mohammedan Sporting had lost to Kerala Blasters in the home match too.

The ISL debutants are at the bottom of the league table with five points from 12 games.

Noah Sadaoui and Alexandre Coeff netted for the hosts while Mohammedan Sporting goalkeeper Bhaskar Roy scored an own goal. Kerala Blasters broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute courtesy an error from Roy. The custodian misjudged a corner kick from Adrian Luna and deflected the ball into his own net.

The hosts doubled their lead in the 80th minute when Korou Singh found Noah in the penalty area after another Luna corner kick was cleared away. The Moroccan directed the free header into the bottom right corner.

French substitute Alexandre Coeff found himself at the end of a cross from Luna in the 90th minute and hammered the ball home.

Kerala Blasters are 10th in the standings with 14 points from 13 matches.
