Actress Alia Bhatt on Saturday shared never-before-seen photos with husband Ranbir Kapoor to mark the latter's 42nd birthday. Here’s a look at the family pictures that also feature their daughter Raha.
A family photo shows Alia, Ranbir and Raha hugging a tree. “Sometimes all you need is a giant hug and you make life feel like one,” reads the actress’s caption on Instagram. Alia and Ranbir exchanged vows after five years of dating on April 14, 2022, in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Mumbai. Later that year, on November 6, Alia gave birth to Raha.
Ranbir carries his daughter in his arms. His rear profile shows him wearing a Superman-themed baseball cap. The photo seems to have been taken at a foreign location, presumably Disneyland. Recently, pictures of Raha and Ranbir celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Randhir Kapoor, Babita, Jeh and Taimur went viral on social media.
Another photo shows Alia sitting on her husband’s lap. While Alia wears a red dress, Ranbir sports an all-black outfit in the picture. The couple co-starred in Ayan Mukerji's sci-fi adventure Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva (2022) and will next appear together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic drama Love & War alongside Vicky Kaushal.
Raha holds her dad’s finger as they take a stroll through a stable. The photo captures the father-daughter duo twinning in blue denim. On the work front, Ranbir is all set to portray the role of Aziz in Animal Park, the sequel to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 2023 blockbuster Animal. The actor also has Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana in the pipeline. Ranbir has reportedly been roped in for Aditya Chopra’s Dhoom 4.
Alia also shared a picture of a birthday balloon bearing Ranbir’s name. The 31-year-old actress made her Paris Fashion Week debut earlier this week. She will next appear in Vasan Bala’s Jigra alongside Vedang Raina. The film is slated to hit theatres on October 11. The actress will also headline YRF Spy Universe’s first female-led film Alpha alongside Veda actress Sharvari Wagh.
