DJ Aaditya: The 2000s hold a special place for me, as I grew up with that music shaping my taste and inspiring me to remix. Revisiting these songs helps me connect with listeners who share those memories, while also bringing fresh energy to tracks we all know and love.
Each track you chose has its own distinct style and energy. How did you approach remixing them?
For every track, I focused on capturing its unique essence while adding an electronic twist. My approach began with understanding what made each song special, whether it was the melody, rhythm or vocal line. I kept those core elements intact to maintain familiarity, while layering in modern electronic elements.
Can you share some insights into your creative process?
I start by listening to the original track multiple times to understand its mood, structure, and key elements. During the production phase, I experiment with loops and samples to inject fresh energy, giving it an electronic vibe while preserving the essence of the original.

According to DJ Aaditya, the title track of the 'Bangerzz Remix' album was the most challenging one
The title track of the Bangerzz Remix album was the most challenging. I wanted it to encapsulate the album’s essence and set the tone. This track needed to be impactful, so I invested extra effort to ensure it would resonate with listeners and leave a lasting impression.

In the era of social media and streaming, how important do you think remixes are in bringing classic songs back into the spotlight?
In today’s world of social media and streaming, remixes play a huge role in reviving classic songs and keeping them relevant. Reels and YouTube Shorts have made it easy for remixes to go viral, often reaching a massive audience in a short time. When a remix of a classic song gains traction, it not only brings that track back into the spotlight but also introduces it to new listeners who might not have discovered it otherwise.
Are there any other songs or artists from the 2000s you’re eager to remix in the future? Any dream collaborations you'd love to pursue?
Absolutely! There are so many songs and artists from the 2000s I’m excited to remix in the future. The rhythms and vibes from that era offer endless possibilities.
