Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin, shipped as BinJin by fans, got hitched in what is being dubbed as the “wedding of the century”. Their most popular project together, Crash Landing on You (2019) turned many into K-drama fans.
The glowing bride and dapper groom pulled off a range of dreamy looks at the star-studded and gorgeous wedding. Here’s an album.
In one of her wedding looks, Son dressed in this elegant Valentino piece from the brand’s Valentino Promenade collection. The touch of sheer and tulle complemented a slicked-back hairstyle to make the beautiful Son look picture perfect.
In this gorgeous photo shoot, photographs from which featured at the wedding venue as well, Son Ye-jin donned a beautiful custom Vera Wang tulle and lace gown from the label’s Spring 2020 Bridal Collection and looked like a dream. Called Camellia, the asymmetrical neckline of the ivory gown lent it a contemporary touch and the lace trimmings added to the elegant drama. Groom Hyun Bin looked smart in a Tom Ford Shelton Blazer, the cream colour of which beautifully complemented the ivory of Son’s gown.
Son Ye Jin got into a fairy-tale Elie Saab gown from their Bridal Spring 2022 collection, for this beautiful frame. The classic neckline and floral embellishments ticked all the boxes for a pristine bridal look. Hyun Bin sported a sharp look complete with a Tom Ford Shelton Blazer + a black bow tie + cummerbund.
Looking back at some other Hallyu who have tied the knot in recent years
Very recently, long-time sweethearts Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon tied the knot. In a series of pre-wedding photos, the happy couple seemed to be elated for the upcoming big day. Among the many looks that the couple gave us, we loved this one — the lace gown on Park, a classic look with beautiful floral motifs while the groom sported a sharp black tuxedo with slight gradients and a bow tie.
Singer Gummy and actor Jo Jung Suk, who tied the knot a few years back, had also revealed a playful and romantic wedding photoshoot. Gummy rocked a simple spaghetti-strap gown with a slight train while Jo Jung Suk lovingly looked on in his chosen colour of the day — black.
Compared to the big designer names that we often tend to find at celebrity weddings, Lee Hyori (married to Lee Sang-soon) stood at a contrast with her 100,000 won (approximately $83) wedding gown that she had bought while on a trip to Thailand. Her wedding, which had taken place at her Jeju residence, was an intimate and unique one.
