For most brides-to-be, deciding on a make-up artist can be a real daunting task. We’ve known most to suffer from confusion and stress each time they’re close to finalising their look, because after all, it’s their big day, and most of them want nothing less than perfection.

In today’s day and age when social media is almost everything, most brides look at Instagram pages of make-up artists before they make their choice as these pages are more of a digital portfolio.

To make things easier for our brides, we took upon ourselves the arduous task of exploring the work of some of the choicest budding bridal artists in the city, and created a showcase that could help you in booking the artist that would give you the look of your dreams.

So, here’s getting you seven artists whose work we fancied enough to bring to your notice.

TOP TIP: Make-up is all about expressing yourself so go all out, and don’t let others decide what looks good on you. Step out of your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid. Experiment. A lot. Rather than fixating on “correcting” your facial features, explore your personality and incorporate that in your make-up style.

Sabiha Lodi

This new mommy is a former M.A.C. artist who has not just made a name for herself in the bridal make-up circles but also runs an academy that teaches basic to advanced make-up as well as masterclasses. Less is more is what she swears by and believes that skin must look like skin, instead of the air-brushed and polished images that we see all over the Internet that isn’t mostly real.
