The tourism department announced three services on Monday.
While two are specific to Durga Puja, the third, a hop-on-hop-off bus service, will operate around the year.
A priority group pass for tourists from abroad and outside the state can be sourced from government-recognised travel agents and leading hoteliers for hassle-free entry into pandals using a QR code-based system.
The government has tied up with 49 pujas across four zones for this. A digital booklet introducing each puja and a guide map will also be given.
As for the second scheme, a double-decker bus service will be launched on Tuesday and will operate from 11am to 6pm, running in a loop from Cathedral Road to the Jorasanko Thakurbari gate. Tickets will be priced at Rs 50.
The service will continue till October 10.
The hop-on-hop-off buses will be air-conditioned and one can avail himself or herself of the service by buying a whole-day pass for Rs 250.
The buses will run at 20-minute intervals and the passes for the buses will allow unlimited rides for the day also on ferry and tram services, and buses on other routes run by the West Bengal Transport Corporation.
