Traffic restrictions for Madhyamik days

Goods vehicles will be restricted on Kolkata roads from 8am to 12pm on the days of the Madhyamik examination which will begin on March 7.

Kolkata Traffic police uploaded a notification on Facebook, on Saturday evening, regarding the restrictions which will be in place during the state board secondary examination.

The notification read:

  • Movement of all types of goods vehicles shall be restricted within the city of Kolkata (Kolkata police jurisdiction) from 8am to 12pm from March 7 to March 16 except for March 10 and 13.
  • This notification will remain in force in addition to the other normal restrictions.

The Madhyamik examination will begin with the first languages paper on March 7 and will end with the optional elective subjects on March 16.

Students will have 3 hours to write the papers from 12pm to 3pm.

An additional 15 minutes will be given to the students to study the question paper from 11.45am to 12pm.
