Metro Railway has stepped up efforts to enforce the mask mandate. On Thursday, The Telegraph reported how several passengers in the city’s transport lifeline were travelling without wearing the mask properly.

The campaigns were held at several stations, including Dum Dum, Central, Kalighat and Tollygunge.

Public announcements were made throughout the day. Posters and banners were also put up across stations.
