Train schedule
Railway infrastructure upgrade in the Kharagpur division has led to changes in the schedule of trains from Howrah and Santragachhi. The 08069 Santragachhi-Jhargram Passenger and the train in the return direction have been cancelled for Friday. The 18033 Howrah-Ghatsila MEMU Express will be short-terminated at Kharagpur on Friday. On its return journey, the train will start from Kharagpur, a railway official said.
Fog delays trains
Dense fog in north India is delaying many trains. On Tuesday, the Howrah-Amritsar Mail, Howrah-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Mail, the Sealdah-Ajmer Express and the Howrah-Jammu Tawi Himgiri Express were among those delayed because of a fog-induced delay in the corresponding Down trains, said a railway official.
