50 stolen phones returned
Fifty cell phones that were stolen from different areas under the Airport police station were handed back to their owners, an officer of the Bidhannagar commissionerate said at a programme that was held on Tuesday.
The phones had been tracked down after they were stolen from various places and public transport. The phones were handed to their owners by Gaurav Sharma, police commissioner of Bidhannagar, during the programme. A garment distribution drive was organised as part of the event. Nearly 300 underprivileged per sons were handed over clothes.
