- 12.30pm: Procession along Nirmal Chandra Street, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road, SN Banerjee Road, Dorina crossing
- 2pm: Public meeting at Hogg Street near New Market
- 2-2.30pm: Procession along Chittaranjan Avenue
Kolkata Traffic Police have also issued a traffic notification in connection with IPL 2023 matches to be held at the Eden Gardens on April 6, 14, 23 and 29, and May 8, 11 and 20.
Aircraft bird-hit
An Air India flight from Mumbai was found to have suffered a bird-hit with minimal impact during routine maintenance after it landed in the city on Monday, a spokesperson for the airline said.
The aircraft underwent a thorough check before it left for Mumbai. The take-off was delayed by almost three hours.
