Bangladesh visa
An information centre for Bangladeshi visas was opened at Kolkata (Chitpore) railway station on Monday. The station is linked via rail with Bangladesh.“Passengers can get all visa-related information from the centre,” said a railway official.
Teacher tests
The state primary education board will hold the eighth phase of its interview/viva-voce and aptitude test from March 20 to 24 for the appointment of primary teachers who have opted for Howrah district as their zone, said an official of the board. The counselling will be held at the council’s headquarters in Salt Lake.
