St Augustine’s Day School meet

St Augustine s Day School Kolkata issued a notice on Monday after meeting parents of students from Nursery to Class VIII that they will meet them again on October 10, after the court hearing scheduled for October 4. “The school management, after meeting parent representatives on Monday, 25th September, has decided to meet the parent representatives once again after the Honourable High Court s hearing on 4th October 2023 to clarify their plan of action for the students of Nursery to Class VIII,” the notice said.

A section of parents of children from Nursery to Class VIII protested in front of the school on Monday. The parents said they wanted to know the fate of their children as the school had no affiliation with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. Parents of Class X students, who fear their children might not be able to appear in the 2024 board exams because of lack of affiliation, have filed a petition in Calcutta High Court.
