Overcast conditions are expected in Kolkata on Thursday and Friday, a Met forecast said. “A trough of low pressure is expected to take shape in the coming days, extending from Bihar to Chhattisgarh. Under its influence, enhanced thunderstorm activities are expected across south Bengal, including Kolkata,” said a Met official.
The weather in the city has been hot and humid for the past few days. The evenings have been breezy with bouts of lightning.

- 2pm: Procession from Raja Subodh Mullick Square will move along Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road, SN Banerjee Road, Dorina crossing and finally terminate at Rani Rashmoni Avenue, Esplanade
- 2pm: Procession from Trilok Nath Mandir 4/1, Canal Road, to originating point through Circular Garden Reach Road, Hasting More through Kidderpore bridge
- 3pm: Procession from Bondel Gate flyover [Kabardanga Math] to Ruby Hospital crossing
