Surveillance order
Police commissioner Vineet Kumar Goyal instructed officers of all police stations in Kolkata to step up electronic surveillance in their respective areas with the help of gadgets like CCTVs. He also directed them to regularly upload records of criminals on the police portal. Goyal was speaking at a crime conference on Wednesday in the presence of all senior officers of the Kolkata police.
