Special Puri train
The rush of passengers during the festive season has prompted the railways to continue the services of 03101/03102 Sealdah–Puri–Sealdah Puja Special train. The existing route, timings and stops will continue, said an official of Eastern Railway.
Disruption in train services
Train services on the Howrah-Kharagpur section was disrupted for some time on Wednesday morning following an alert that a crude bomb was lying along the tracks near the Tikiapara car shed. A team of senior officers from the Railway Protection Force reached the spot and found a ball-like item, comprising several cotton strands. The services were restored after the RPF team left the spot.
