Metro service for TET
Metro Railway will run 138 trains on Sunday, eight more than the usual count, on the north-south corridor for the convenience of Teachers’ Eligibility Test examinees. “These additional services will be run before the start of the examination at seven-minute intervals,” the carrier said on Friday. The exam starts at noon.
KMC officials
Officials of Kolkata Municipal Corporation found sitting on a file for a month or more will be show-caused, mayor Firhad Hakim said on Friday. He said he had asked the municipal commissioner to look into the matter.
CBI report
The CBI has filed in Calcutta High Court a sealed-cover report on the alleged mismatch of marks obtained by candidates in the SSC recruitment exam, a court official said on Friday. The marks in the OMR sheets in the SSC records and the central server in Ghaziabad are allegedly different.
