Hunger strike
The hunger strike by students of the Calcutta Medical College and Hospital crossed the 11th day on Sunday. The students are demanding that the students’ union election of the college, which has not been held since 2016, be held immediately. The principal of the college will work from Swasthya Bhavan from Monday, said an official of the college.
