Bus catches fire
A mini bus caught fire on Gostho Paul Sarani outside the Eden Gardens when Bengal was playing the final of the Ranji Trophy against Saurashtra on Thursday afternoon.
The bus was travelling from Esplanade to the Botanical Garden in Howrah’s Shibpur. Police evacuated passengers. One fire tender doused the flames. No one was injured, the police said.
