Hookah bar raid
Three men who ran a hookah bar in Salt Lake’s AA Block, near the Punjab Bank island, were arrested during a raid by the Bidhannagar police on Thursday. The men were allegedly serving hookah to patrons when the police raided the bar called Revel the Sky Bistro. Operating hookah bars have been banned in all 41 wards of the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation that provides civic services to Salt Lake, Baguiati and Rajarhat.
