The marks submission for ISC semester 1 English language paper that had to stop midway following a technical glitch the day before, was completed on Wednesday in several schools.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) informed schools that the “system has been made functional” and the examiners might be requested to resume the process.
“The checking of answer scripts was done on Tuesday. Submission of marks did not take much time on Wednesday,” said Jhuma Biswas, the principal, St Augustine’s Day School, Barrackpore and an ISC convener.
The council on Wednesday sent another circular to school principals that the CISCE will continue to use the services of the examiners of the last two papers for the "evaluation of answer scripts of the remaining subjects".
The council said that the examiners "using the new method of evaluation and submission of marks, have, by now, developed a fair understanding of the new system."
