The OnePlus 11 5G has been announced and it has a global release date on February 7 (China launch is on January 9). The flagship phone will once again have Hasselblad-branded cameras, making it special for smartphone photography enthusiasts.

The feature set that has been announced involves Qualcomm’s latest high-end processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, comes with up to 16GB of RAM, and has a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display. There will be three cameras on the back — a 50MP main snapper, a 48MP ultra-wide and a 32MP sensor for portrait shots. There’s no mention of a telephoto lens, but the company said users will get a “13-channel multi-spectral light-colour identifying sensor”. The three cameras are contained in what the company says is “inspired by black holes”.
