After practising for three weeks, 33 children aged four-13 years performed three stories adapted from the Arabian Nights, timeless tales told by Princess Scherzade to her husband in order to save her life. In the three weeks of practising for All the World’s a Stage 4.0, the children went through the process of working on their body movements, voice, emotions and expressions through drama-based techniques which also helped in teaching various skills like the ability to speak with clarity, English dictation skills, creativity, imagination and character building at a young age. Kavita Gupta (left) and Vandita Sanghvi, founders of Mirror Workshop and Curious Little, said, “We wanted to provide a platform to the kids to enhance their confidence and creativity along with expressing themselves freely. We truly believe that life without drama is no fun, hence we tried inculcating these skills via a summer drama workshop. We look forward to organising All the World’s a Stage 5.0 with another exciting storyline.”
