We recently discovered a delightful new café located in a silent spot behind the restaurant Riyasat-e-hind. Once I stepped inside Garden of Dreams, Unholy by Sam Smith was wafting through the air and it immediately felt like a leisure break from the bustling city life. With a garden-like setting, cool interiors, Instagram-friendly spots and wooden floors, the spiffy décor of the café will compel you to take a deep breath and chill. While I remembered seeing several Instagram posts of people posing inside the cafe, the experience I had there was unforgettable.
The sassy walls add a contemporary touch to the place, which makes it a perfect hub for the young and young-at-heart
During the day, sunshine fills the air-conditioned café while the nights are peppy with trending music and synchronised lights. The 64-seater is sprawled over 2,500sq ft and is your stop on a weekend or for a quick bite after work. The staff is welcoming and friendly. With two days of notice, you can also plan your next friends’ day out or birthday party at Garden of Dreams.
The Lobster Thermidor is one of the best I've had in the city. The lobster is topped off with cheese baked in butter garlic sauce and served with broccoli and cherry tomatoes.
Garden of Dreams is your next stop for café-hopping and can easily become the place you chill with the gang!
The Mutton Barra Kebab is soft and scrumptious. They prepare it with a traditional recipe that is around 100 years old, which gives it a taste that can’t be found elsewhere.
