“It’s actually such a great place. I personally love bowling. I have played it whenever I have got a chance back in the days when there were parks and stuff. But I had not played in a while, but I love the fact that this place has opened up. The concept of this whole bowling league for the women was fun, exciting and everyone was cheering for each other,” said Shilpa Sethi who finished the game as the winner of the league.

YFLO’s sporting event ‘Bowling Blitz’, held last month at That Place — Bowl and Bar on Loudon Street, marked the beginning of the winter merriment for the YFLO members. That Place — Bowl and Bar being the city’s new coolest hotspot, was YFLO’s chosen spot for the fun-filled afternoon, joining hands with the Engage Group to organise this one-of-a-kind event for the first time for the members. It was a melange of sporting spirit and cheerful moments.

The Bowling Blitz saw four rounds of the gaming activity with an enthusiastic participation of 50 members who tried their hands at striking down the maximum number of pins placed at the end of their respective lanes within limited chances. Loud cheers and applause by fellow members encouraged the participants further. Besides the fun, the participants’ fitness factor played a major role in the game. Delectable snacks kept spirits high throughout. Glimpses.
