A fire broke out in the food court of Acropolis Mall on November 18. ‘A minor fire incident occurred in the frying equipment at the Wow Momo counter in Acropolis Mall at 10.40 am. Our mall team promptly used fire extinguishers to control the situation,’ said Subhadip Basu, corporate general manager, hospitality and mall (Merlin Group). On June 14, a fire was reported at the Crossword store in Kasba mall after which it was shut down for one-and-a-half months. The mall reopened on August 3
