The inaugural leg of the Indian Golf Union (IGU) East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour 2024 took place on February 7 and 8 at Tollygunge Club. Samridh Sen emerged victorious in the first edition of the IGU Amateur Feeder Tour 2024, named the Protouch Amateur Open 2024.

There was a three-way tie between Kolkata golfers — Samridh Sen, Saquib Hussain and Garv Lakhmani. Ultimately, Sen triumphed with a par on the second extra hole. Hussain, last year's Order of Merit winner, finished second on countback over Lakhmani.

The Mid-Amateur category was won by Hyderabad’s Abhishek Mitra with a score of 12 over par, with Amit Kumar Saraogi finishing a distant second. Both the Seniors and Super Senior categories were won by Ashit Luthra of Kolkata and the runner up was Subroto Kundu. The age category for the Senior’s 55 to 64 while the same for the Super Senior category is 65 years and above. There were also two Nett trophies, which were won by AVSN Raju from Vizag with JP Singh finishing as the runner-up. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by the golf captain of Tollygunge Club, Sreyon Chatterjee, who gave away the prizes to the exceptional talents.
