St Xavier’s University has appointed a professor of English at North Bengal University as the Mother Teresa Chair Professor for Peace. Zinia Mitra was selected by a two-member search and selection committee, said vice-chancellor Father Felix Raj. The post was created by the state higher education department in May following an announcement by the chief minister.
