Presidency University protest
Presidency University students who had started a sit-in agitation against a “proposed fee hike” on Wednesday afternoon withdrew their protest on Thursday. The protesting students confined the interim VC and the registrar till late on Wednesday. Registrar Debajyoti Konar said the university had never proposed a fee hike.
