September 23 saw a packed Perfect Place in Town in Salt Lake’s Sector V, as crowds gathered in huge numbers for singer Imran Khan’s first-ever performance in the city. The performance was a part of the five-city India tour called Supermoon Unforgettable Club Tour where the Bewafa singer toured cities such as Kolkata, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, etc.
A packed house awaited the singer who’s known for his catchy lyrics and over-the-top videos and fans burst into song and cheer the moment he took the stage at midnight and began the show with fireworks.
The Telegraph was there to catch the live action.
Dressed in black denims, sunflower yellow T-shirt and a black Givenchy jacket, the singer entered the party spot in his signature avatar, that is, not without his shades. Imaginary, Amplifier, Satisfya were among his few hits that he performed.
It was a tough time for Khan’s security team as fans were pushing to reach the front and catch a glimpse of the star. Phones were out in large numbers to create videos, reels, Instagram stories and click snaps.
The event ended with his superhit song Bewafa, and this group of friends closed the night with an excited group hug.
“It took massive effort from the PPT team to organise this event and we are overjoyed to see the response we received. Our guests loved it and that’s all that we could ask for. We plan to host more such phenomenon in the future,” said Rishabh Killa, managing director, PPT.
With fans reaching out for a handshake, Imran Khan wasn’t one to disappoint as he made sure to interact with fans out front.
