Awards, laughter, positivity and idea-sharing defined the third edition of Cafe Pehchan

It was indeed a “Hauslon ne di nayi udaan” affair at CAFÉ Pehchaan 3.0, held on July 22 at Hyatt Regency Kolkata. Organised by Career After Family community in association with t2, the event celebrated the achievements of women entrepreneurs who launched their careers after starting off as homemakers.

The main attraction of the programme was an informal interaction with Carry on Mummy fame stand-up comedian and chief guest Harpriya Bains from Delhi. Her act delved into the plights of women expected to conform to social conventions. Bains also mentioned her mental health journey of consulting a therapist and coming out of her comfort zone before starting her career as a stand-up comedian at 40.

‘Raising Your Networking Game’, an insightful learning session by TEDx speaker Lokesh Nathany from Hyderabad, offered proactive solutions on how to network well at public and social gatherings. Holistic wellness guru and special guest Dr Mickey Mehta from Mumbai engaged in a mini energetic session with the audience where he explained how a positive attitude and self-discipline can help defeat illnesses and physical infirmities. This was followed by a string of awards and felicitations to women who have made it big in the field of business and entrepreneurship. Snapshots.
