The Protouch Junior Open 2023, the first leg of the IGU Keventer Sub Junior East Zone Feeder Tour 2023, was held at Tollygunge Club, with My Kolkata as digital partner. Between March 29 and March 30, over 70 junior golfers from across India competed in the tournament.

In a playoff round against Prashant Agarwal, Armaan Tekriwal of Kolkata won the B Category Boys as well as the A&B Boys combined category. Earlier, they had both shot 155 to take the lead. Andrew Baid of Kolkata won the C category Boys with a score of 164 over two days, while Aranyak Chakraborty came in second with a score of 170.

Hrian Khem won the D category Boys division with a score of 196, the same as Samarth Agarwal’s. Hrian won the title in a playoff. Ayaan Mimani won the under-nine category, also known as the E Category Boys division, with a score of 85 in two rounds (nine holes each round), while Yugvardhana Singhania finished second with an 89.
The competition saw some of the brightest young talents from across the country
Anamika Chakravarthy shot 167 to win the A&B Girls division, and Dhanvi Patel shot 190 to finish second. Julinka Roy Chowdhury won the C&D Girls with a score of 182, and Nahida Parvin finished second with a score of 195. Aarya Ganguly won the under-nine girls (E Category Girls) division with a score of 97 over two rounds (nine holes each day), while Saesha Vora finished second with a score of 131.

On the 11th hole, Anamika Chakravarthy made a hole-in-one. A special prize was won by Rajdeep Paul, who placed second in the Special Olympics Bharat edition of the NCC Golf Championship 2021. He also competed in this tournament and shot 102. Sheetal Khanna from Keventer, along with Indrajit Bhalotia, presented the prizes to all the winners.
The tournament’s education partner was The Champ for Life Academy, the outdoor media partner was Balaji Ads and the online proshop partner was Golfedge. The event was managed by Protouch Sports.
