Ahaan Gupta triumphs at the Golftrade Junior Open

The three-day tournament at Tollygunge Club involved more than 50 junior golfers

The seventh leg of the Indian Golf Union (IGU) East Zone Junior Feeder Tour 2023, Golftrade Junior Open 2023, was won by Kolkata's Ahaan Gupta, who played 11 over two rounds of golf at the Tollygunge Club. Dishan Ghosh finished second in the A & B combined category with a score of 160. Dishan came first in category B boys, and Chittaranjan's Biswakrit Ghosh finished second in category B boys with a score of 163.

The most recent Junior Feeder Tour took place in Tollygunge Club between June 7 and 9, with 55 juniors battling it out in the midst of a hot and humid summer.

Mehak Lohan won the A & B girls’ category with a score of 165, while Ananya Roy came in second with 175. Julinka Roychowdhury won the C & D girls’ category with a score of 168, while Nahida Parvin came in second with a score of 185. Andrew Baid took first place in category C boys with a score of 159, while Aranyak Chakraborty finished second with a score of 169. Samarth Agarwal won the category C boys with a score of 184, while Arkaprovo Chaudhury finished second with 185. Parikshet More won the category E boys with a score of 92, while Shaurish Sen finished second with a score of 97. Tashya Shroff took first place in the category E girls division with a score of 136.

Mayank Jalan, chairman and managing director of Keventer Agro; Deep Banerjee, golf captain of Tolly; Sreyon Chatterjee, golf vice captain of Tolly; Subhojit Nag and Indrajit Bhalotia were present during the prize distribution ceremony to hand over the laurels to the winners.

The tour's title sponsor was Keventer, education partner was The Champ for Life Academy, the outdoor media partner was Balaji Ads and the online proshop partner was Golfedge. The event was managed by Protouch Sports.
