Nishant Soni (29), who got a silver disc from YouTube for crossing the 1 lakh subscriber mark, is now making a 10-minute film on Sushant Singh Rajput.

Soni, known for his inspirational videos with social messages making rounds on various platforms, said the film Ek Tha Sushant would be a tribute to the actor, who earned fame despite dirty politics in the Bollywood industry.

Soni said the film will show Sushant’s struggle against nepotism.

“I will highlight the dual policy Bollywood has with newcomers who lack a powerful background, he said, adding that shooting has already begun.

The film is set for its YouTube release on July 15.

Soni said he has connections in Bollywood, where he has come across nepotism and dirty politics.

“My film will be a slap on the faces of all those who crush talents. I am doing the lead role and giving
opportunities to local talents here,” he said.

Soni has returned to his hometown Hazaribagh, where he is living with his parents in the Deepugarha locality.

He started making short videos and soon became a popular face on Youtube, Tiktok and Facebook.

“For a small town guy like me who lacks powerful connections, I will not get work in Bollywood. But I am making so many short videos and giving work to boys and girls of this area with many getting more than 50 lakh likes”, he said.

“I was a big fan of Sushant, and for a die-hard fan like me, this film will be a big tribute”, he said.

“After Sushant committed suicide, the politics of Bollywood were laid out in the open for all. My film will highlight this”, he added.
