While Arijit sported a white jacket over a matching t-shirt paired with blue jeans, Sheeran wore a black t-shirt with blue cargo pants for the show. The pictures show the duo jamming together to Sheeran’s 2017 track Perfect. Arijit also performed a medley of his hit songs like Hawayein and Tera Hone Laga Hoon.

Videos of the duo’s performance are circulating on social media. Sharing a video of their performance on X, a fan wrote, “Arijit Singh and Ed Sheeran's 'perfect' collaboration deflected the asteroid and saved earth.”

Arijit kicked off his UK & European Tour at London’s O2 Arena on Sunday. He is set to perform in Birmingham, Rotterdam and Manchester on September 16, 19 and 22, respectively.

Sheeran performed in Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Race Course on March 16 as part of his ‘+ - = ÷ x Tour’, also called The Mathematics Tour. He lit up the stage with a surprise collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh during his concert. Singer Armaan Malik also joined Sheeran on stage to perform the latter’s 2021 track 2step at the concert.

During his India visit, the singer appeared on actor-comedian Kapil Sharma’s Netflix chat show The Great Indian Kapil Show, where he performed his song Shape of You with a troupe of bhangra dancers. He also recreated Shah Rukh Khan’s signature arms-stretched-out pose and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa gesture.
