Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has shared fresh pictures from his stay in Kashmir, a day after he posted a video of himself sipping ‘kahwah’ while enjoying a shikara ride on Srinagar’s Dal Lake. Here’s a look at some moments from his vacation.
Dressed in a traditional pheran with a black shawl wrapped around his shoulders, Diljit posed for a picture on a wooden bridge.
The Ikk Kudi singer also wore a white turban, black woollen trousers and brown boots. Diljit recently sang the title track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Pitbull.
The Hass Hass singer, who is currently in the final leg of his Dil-Luminati India tour, with a performance scheduled in Mumbai on December 19, interacted with the locals during his stay in Kashmir.
Diljit recently dropped the music video of his latest track Don, which features a voiceover by actor Shah Rukh Khan. The singer’s Dil-Luminati India tour will conclude on December 29 with a grand finale in Guwahati.
A picture shows Diljit walking through the lanes of Kashmir. The 40-year-old musician recently addressed a controversy surrounding his use of the spelling ‘Panjab’ instead of ‘Punjab’ at a concert in Chandigarh. In a strongly-worded statement on X, he explained the historical and linguistic context of the spelling. “Panj Aab - meaning Five Rivers. Whether you write it as Panjab or Punjab, it will always remain ਪੰਜਾਬ,” he wrote.
Diljit also donned a traditional woollen bucket hat in one of the pictures. He last appeared in the Imtiaz Ali-helmed Netflix biopic Amar Singh Chamkila opposite Parineeti Chopra.
The artiste will next be seen in Anurag Singh’s Border 2 alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan.
