YouTuber-composer Yashraj Mukhate, who shot to fame with the 2020 song Rasode Me Kaun Tha, tied the knot with girlfriend Alpana on Wednesday, he announced through an Instagram post.

Calling his marriage a ‘major collab’, Yashraj wrote, “Two major collabs happened today. One, Alpana and I registered our marriage,” alongside pictures of him and Alpana signing the legal documents.

While Alpana looked gorgeous in an orange-and-golden silk sari accessorised with gold jewellery, Yashraj was nattily dressed in an off-white sherwani.

In his post, the composer referred to another major collab — his new song Mann Dhaaga, which dropped on February 28, the same day as his marriage with Alpana.

With lyrics by Anvitaa Dutt, Mann Dhaaga is sung by Yashraj, Jasleen Royal and Amit Trivedi.

Delving into the timeless bond of love, the music video begins with Yashraj, Amit and Anvitaa sitting inside an empty theatre. The camera then pans to Jasleen ascending a flight of steps in a floor-sweeping gown embellished with rose motifs. The video concludes with a chorus by all four of them.

Mukhate’s Rasode Me Kaun Tha is a peppy rendition of a dialogue from the soap opera Saath Nibhana Saathiya. Actress Deepika Padukone grooved to his version of the Sada Kutta Tommy rap on Ranveer Singh’s 36th birthday. Mukhate also created a song titled Pawri Ho Rahi Hai based on a viral video of a Pakistani girl Dananeer Mobeen, who pronounced the word party in an accented manner.
