Yami Gautam has shared a fresh behind-the-scenes video featuring intense workout sessions that facilitated her transformation into field agent Zooni Haksar for Aditya Suhas Jambhale’s latest political thriller Article 370.

Expressing her gratitude to her personal trainer Mustafa Ahmed, Yami wrote, “@mustafa_thebull_ahmed, you have been my beacon of strength during the most crucial period- making of ‘Zooni Haksar’. I am deeply grateful for the countless hours of training, motivation, and genuine care. Your belief in me has been a source of constant strength, and for that, I can't thank you enough, Mustafa a.k.a. Maut ka saudagar,” alongside the video on Instagram on Tuesday.

The video begins with the 35-year-old actress running on a treadmill. The subsequent clips show her lifting weights and doing push-ups, squats and lunges. Yami is seen working out on a cross trainer and a chain pulley. Synced with the track Aandhi from Article 370, the BTS video concludes with snippets from the trailer dropped by production house Jio Studios early this month.

At the film’s trailer launch event, it was revealed that Yami and filmmaker Aditya Dhar, who tied the knot in June 2021, are expecting their first child.

As per the official synopsis, Article 370 recounts Zooni’s attempts to save innocent lives and maintain national unity in the aftermath of the government's revocation of Article 370.

The political thriller is jointly produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar, the makers of Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019).

Article 370 was released theatrically on February 23.
