The trailer of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, dropped by the makers on Monday, shows a shredded Ranbir Kapoor and a bikini-clad Shraddha Kapoor romancing each other in what appears to be a story of fake love, betrayals and modern-day dating trends.
A ‘Jhoothi’ Shraddha and a ‘Makkaar’ Ranbir romance each other, and end up in a comedic and fake love story in the trailer of this Luv Ranjan directorial. While Ranbir’s player is on the lookout for another girl, he meets a worthy opponent in the form of Shraddha, who is equally good at her dating game.
The Stree actress looks stunning in her bikini-clad avatar and Ranbir puts his abs on full display in the 3-minute-25-second-long trailer. Their romantic endeavours come to a halt when their families start preparing for their marriage, putting the two in a tough spot — a development that leads to them seeking a ‘khoobsurat (beautiful)’ breakup.
Produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, the romantic-comedy also marks comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi’s Bollywood debut. Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar sees Ranbir and Shraddha pair up for the first time.
The film will be releasing in theatres on March 8.
