The Lying Life of Adults

The trailer of Netflix’s upcoming Italian drama series The Lying Life of Adults is out. Based on Elena Ferrante’s bestselling novel of the same name, the six-part series is directed by Edoardo De Angelis and stars Valeria Golino, Alessandro Preziosi, Pina Turco and Giordana Marengo.

The two-minute-28-second-long trailer chronicles the journey of a teenage girl in Naples in the early 1990s. The girl starts to form a close bond with his estranged aunt. It is a series about understanding how to navigate life by embracing its mistakes. The show is written by De Angelis, Laura Paolucci and Francesco Piccolo.

The Lying Life of Adults will arrive on Netflix on January 4, 2023.

Of An Age

Focus Features dropped the official trailer of its upcoming drama film Of An Age. Directed by Goran Stolevski, the film stars Thom Green and Hattie Hook in lead roles.

The two-minute-39-second-long trailer shows that the film is set in the summer of 1999 in Australia. It chronicles a 17-year-old Serbian-born amateur ballroom dancer Adam’s experiences of an intense 24-hour romance with a friend’s older brother Ebony.

Of An Age will arrive in cinemas on February 10, 2023.

Shikarpur

Zee5 launched the official trailer of its upcoming Bengali film Shikarpur. Directed by Nirjhar Mitra, it stars Ankush Hazra, Koushik Ganguly, Sandipta Sen, Debashish Mondol and Korak Samanta.

The two-minute-24-second-long trailer presents a triple homicide case set in a fictional small-town called Shikarpur in West Bengal. A ragtag amateur detective named Keshto (Ankush) is trying to solve the case. He soon finds some evidence that the murders might be linked with some treasure and a monster.

Shikarpur will arrive on Zee5 on January 6, 2023.

JUNG_E

Netflix released the official teaser of its upcoming stylised South Korean sci-fi film JUNG_E. Written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho, the movie stars Kang Soo-yeon, Kim Hyun-joo and Ryu Kyung-soo. It is the final film appearance of Kang Soo-yeon who died ahead of its release.

In the one-minute-12-second-long teaser, we see a future where technological advancement has propelled artificial intelligence to new heights. A new AI-enabled combat warrior is created for a better and safer future, but it causes a rampage.

JUNG_E will be streaming on Netflix from January 20, 2023.
