Pop diva Beyonce was a surprise guest at American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert film premiere in Los Angeles on October 11, taking Swifties — the dedicated fanbase of the latter — to dizzy heights of ecstasy.
Beyonce, whose Renaissance Tour concert film will hit the screens in December, showed up to support Taylor. The pop legend appeared in a black bodysuit and a metallic breast-plate, a look in line with her Renaissance World Tour aesthetic, while Swift was dressed in a pastel-blue floral gown.
The two music icons also posed together on the red carpet, prompting Swift to reflect on the significance of the moment on social media. “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence,” the I Don’t Want to Live Forever singer wrote on Instagram.
“The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale 😇🙏🥹,” Swift went on to write alongside a short clip of them sitting in the front row of an empty theatre, enjoying a bucket of popcorn together.
