Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan and his wife Aarthi welcomed their third child, a baby boy, on June 2, the couple announced in a joint statement on Monday.
“Dear all, Our hearts are overflowing with joy as we welcome our baby boy born on June 2nd. Our family has grown a little bigger and a whole lot happier. We need all your love, support and blessings, as always -Gugan, Aaradhana, Aarthy & Sivakarthikeyan,” they wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Sivakarthikeyan and Aarthi tied the knot in 2010. They welcomed their daughter Aaradhana in 2013 and son Gugan Doss in 2021.
The couple did not announce their pregnancy officially. However, a video surfaced online showing the couple attending a birthday party, where Aarthi could be seen with a baby bump. Fans showered the couple with love after the clip went viral.
On the work front, Sivakarthikeyan is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Amaran. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the film is based on the life of Ashoka Chakra awardee Major Mukund Varadharajan. It is slated to hit theatres in September. The actor will also be seen in A.R. Murugadoss’ upcoming film, tentatively titled SK23.
