The third season of Sushmita Sen-headlined crime-thriller series Aarya 3 is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from November 3, the actress has announced via a short video clip on Instagram.

The video begins with the ominous sight of animal claw marks. Moments later, the camera zooms-in to unveil the long-awaited release date.

"Sherni ke lautne ka waqt aa gaya hai," translating to "The time for the lioness to return has come," Sushmita wrote alongside the video..

The journey of Aarya 3 was not without its challenges. During the shooting of the series in February, Sushmita suffered a heart attack. However, the determined actress made a remarkable recovery and was back on the sets in April. Sushmita's unwavering commitment to her craft led to the completion of the Aarya 3 shoot in June.

In Aarya, Sushmita portrays a resilient woman who crosses boundaries to shield her family from the world of crime. The show's first season was nominated for 'Best Drama' at the International Emmy Awards.

Sushmita was last seen in Taali, a web series that delves into the life of transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant, who played a significant role in the fight for recognition of transgender individuals as the third gender in India.
